AT&T ZERO Charger Zaps The Competition

One of the coolest gadgets at this year's Produced By Conference was shown by AT&T. Most cell chargers draw power even when they're not actively charging a phone. AT&T's ZERO Charger eliminates this "Vampire draw" completely. On an individual basis the electricity consumption is not substantial, but collectively they represent a sizable amount of juice (enough to power thousands of homes for a year).
